The snowman

I saw the round snowman he hopped in the freezer. He put peas on his head and I watched him find the book in the gold, shiny freezer. He looked back and suddenly the huge snowman grabbed my hand and we flew into the sky. I was scared but i got used to it. I could see white, snowy mountains pine cone trees and brown, old houses.

I felt exhausted.

Rona

Once upon a time there was a lady called Rona and she lived in
a village with three boys. She had to cook

her hangi but suddenly she ran out of water.  She went down
to the way and soon as she was nearly there it got darker and
darker. It got so dark and she didn't make it. As soon as she
got to the beach so she ran out of the village and ran to the
path.  She saw the water and she couldn't see and stubbed
her toe. Rona quickly skipped to the lake and she was going
to checking water for her gourd bottle and she tripped. She
shouted “I will boil your head” at the moon. So the moon
grabbed her by the hips.  The boys were wondering where
she was but they saw her up in the sky. But she was frozen.

Moehuri

Many stormy nights  ago Moehuri went on his waka.  He was on the pacific ocean sailing time.  The stars shone like sparkles from Hawaiki to mangonui. “I am excited we are almost there and the sky looks so blue and the stars shine like sparkly crystals” said Moehuri.

keep mangonui ATAAHUA

If we don't put our rubbish in the bin then it will float into  the seaand our fishes will die from eating the rubbish. We need to keep rubbish away from the sea by putting it in the bin. Then we will not have to keep talking about rubbish And also we need to use paper bags and tee shirt bags instead of using plastic bags. We need to keep Mangonui special and clean.

Mangonui Harbour

In the morning, I see seagulls splashing like dolphins. I hear waves crashing onto the rocks. I feel the nice smooth water on my hands. Smelly rotten bait and diesel from boats fill my nose.
